Poems from the
Inside
Seek
the light of day . . .
A Zen Master
at a coffee shop
hears a shout,
anger and derision,
from up ahead.
He buys one coffee
for the next behind
in the line.
It becomes a chain.
It goes on all day.
Where there is only now,
forward and backward
are the same.
