Poems from the
Inside
Seek
the light of day . . .
Every crime committed
in the need to use
is a crime of war.
Every bribe now taken
from profits off of drugs
is another crime of war.
Every lie now tendered to the public
proves the public is the focus
in this propaganda war.
Every right unguarded
becomes a casualty of war.
Every life cut short,
ensuring someone else's silence,
goes uncounted.
It is a drug of war.
